Include your iPhone model, iOS version, app version, workout name, and a short description of what happened. Do not email private health information.

- Raise your iPhone's media volume.
- Confirm the app's audio control is not muted.
- Disconnect Bluetooth headphones if audio is routed elsewhere.
- Close and reopen the workout, then choose the coach voice again.
A technique video will not play
YouTube lessons require an internet connection and may be unavailable if YouTube restricts a video in your region. Check your connection, reopen the lesson, or use the Full Video link to open YouTube.
Return to a paused workout
During a workout, open the Technique Guide and select the movement you want to review. Use the back arrow in the lesson header to return to the paused workout at the same point.
Training reminders are not arriving
- Open iOS Settings → Notifications → Shadow Box.
- Turn on Allow Notifications, Sounds, and Lock Screen alerts.
- Return to the app and re-enable your training reminders.
- Check whether an iOS Focus mode is suppressing notifications.
Calories look different from another app
Shadow Box shows an estimate based on workout duration, intensity, active time, and the weight entered on your device. Wearables and other apps may use heart rate or different formulas, so estimates can vary.
Reset or erase app data
Deleting Shadow Box removes its locally stored workout history, favorites, preferences, lesson progress, and reminder settings.
Safety
Use a clear space and a speed you can control. Stop if you feel pain, dizziness, chest pain, loss of balance, numbness, or unusual shortness of breath. Shadow Box is general fitness education and does not replace medical advice or qualified in-person coaching.
