Summary
Shadow Box does not operate an account system, advertising network, analytics service, cloud workout profile, or data brokerage service. We do not sell personal information. Your workout records and app preferences are stored locally on your iPhone.
Information stored on your device
The app may store the following information locally:
- Completed and partially completed workout records.
- Estimated calories, active time, rounds, and punch-call totals.
- Your selected coach voice and workout pace.
- Favorites, lesson progress, and workout browsing position.
- Your optional body-weight entry used for calorie estimates.
- Reminder settings and locally scheduled notification identifiers.
- Safety and Terms of Use acknowledgments.
This information is not uploaded to a Shadow Box server. You can remove it by deleting the app.
Training reminders
If you enable reminders, the app asks for notification permission and schedules reminders locally through iOS. Shadow Box does not register your device for a remote marketing-notification service.
YouTube technique videos
Technique lessons use the YouTube embedded player and may load video thumbnails from YouTube. When you view this content, Google or YouTube may receive ordinary network and device information, such as your IP address, user agent, playback interactions, and cookies or local storage used by the embedded player. Their handling of that information is governed by the Google Privacy Policy and the YouTube Terms of Service.
No cross-app profile
Shadow Box does not combine your workout history with information from other apps or websites, and does not create a developer-owned advertising profile. Third-party video services may apply their own practices when their content is loaded.
Children's privacy
Shadow Box is a general fitness app and is not directed to children under 13. It has no public profiles, messaging, or user-generated content. A parent or guardian should supervise any minor's use of fitness or boxing instruction.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page before a release that materially changes the app's data practices, adds accounts, analytics, advertising, or cloud synchronization.
